The Children's Museum of New Hampshire

Thanks to generous underwriting by the Citizens Bank Foundation, the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire will open its doors to all for a Free Family Fun Night on Friday, November 6. The entire museum will be open to families at no charge from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., offering a special after-hours opportunity for busy families to spend quality time together.

One more Citizens Bank Family Fun Night is scheduled for Friday, December 4 from 5:30 – 8 p.m. Plans for 2010 Family Fun Nights will be announced by the end of this year.

The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is located at 6 Washington Street in Dover and offers two levels of hands-on, custom-created exhibits for children ages 1-12. Children can explore a wide range of subjects, from dinosaurs, music and aeronautics to world cultures, art and natural history. A special area on the second floor has been designed especially for children under age 4 with a large train set, soft toys and puppets to spark imaginative play, board books and more. The museum also features two classrooms for field trips and birthday parties, a snack area, and gift shop.  Open year-round, the museum hosts a variety of live performances, workshops, classes and special events for families.

Citizens Bank Foundation is a subsidiary of the Citizens Charitable Foundation, which is a charitable contributions vehicle of Citizens Financial Group, Inc., RBS Citizens, N.A. and Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania. The foundation’s support is focused on housing, community development and basic human needs.
