We are packing for our trip to Myrtle Beach tomorrow (!) and I’m really hoping we get a chance to check this place out.  We discovered this great write-up over on Foxnews.com/travel, and it looks very fun and exciting!

If you’ve ever wondered where the animals you see on TV and movies live when they’re not on set, or even how they learn to “act”, look no further than Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This tourist destination, known mainly for its sunny weather and crowded beaches, is also home to Tigers Preservation Station and Safari(T.I.G.E.R.S) a safari for celebrity animals.    Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/travel/2012/04/25/safari-lets-swim-with-celebrity-tigers/#ixzz1zmC8wyp5

Here you’ll find animals that have been in popular movies like the Ace Ventura movies and Dr. Doolittle.  Part of the action at the Myrtle Beach Safari is the ability to watch the animals prepare for their next starring role.
Although admission is pricey at around $250 per person, part of the money goes to the Rare Species Fund, a wildlife conservation program.  Plus, you can pet baby tigers or other baby jungle animals!
