10 Great Places for Families to Escape the Snow

Submitted by on Sunday, November 11, 2012No Comment

As we finalize our January trip to Mexico I’ve got beach on the brain!  Even though we live in Minnesota, I am not a huge fan of snow or winter.  In fact, my favorite thing about winter here is that the cold ensures we have no poisonous bugs or snakes.  That, and the knowledge that we are only three and half hours from any coast for a family beach vacation.

If you are planning your warm weather getaway, check out this list of 10 great places for families to escape the snow from USAToday Travel.  One of my friends did the bioluminescent bay kayak tour in Puerto Rico with her 8-yr-old daughter last year and said it was amazing!!  It is definitely on my wish list!!
