Top Family Hotels in Palm Springs – A Desert Oasis

Submitted by on Tuesday, December 18, 2012No Comment

A family vacation in Palm Springs, California is a great way to experience the desert while still being near theme parks and kid-friendly attractions.  Palm Springs is an easy drive to San Diego and all it’s family fun, as well as to Anaheim and Disneyland.  And the desert is an ecosystem that holds many wonders for kids.

With so many Palm Springs hotels stating ‘adults only’ or ‘adults preferred’, I’ve compiled a list of the top family hotels in Palm Springs that welcome you AND your children with open arms.  Since it’s located in a desert, the biggest criteria were pools and shade.  Heated pools are important even in the desert, because temps can get chilly overnight.  We also always love villas and suites with kitchens or kitchenettes when we travel with little ones.  It really saves a bundle on food costs.  I don’t know about yours, but mine takes about 3 bites and proclaims “I’m full.”  Having a kitchen lets me serve him only what I know he’s going to eat… or reheat his leftover dinner for lunch.
