Dirt Cups
March 18, 2011 By JenniferGNeed a quick and fun snack or dessert idea for your kids? This just might do the trick.
I can remember actually falling into a fit of giggles with my friend when we realized it was really just pudding and Oreo cookies. Needless to say it was a big hit for us.
I decided to make this for my children recently. This recipe is simple and delicious.
Ok, for those feeling a bit put-off or guilty about giving your kids pudding and Oreos, you may want to check out this post of a great guidebook review:
At first glance, I was expecting Healthy Highways: The Travelers’ Guide to Healthy Eating to be a list of roadside diners offering more than chicken-fried everything with a side of French fries.
Healthy Highways spotlights organic and vegetarian restaurant options with more than 2800 listings in all 50 states. The authors don’t stop there. To make eating well on the road (or in your home city) as easy as possible, they include local directions, a unique feature that helps travelers anticipate upcoming locations and plan stops without worrying about getting lost. The Goldbecks add that,
“ Not only does Healthy Highways help people eat better on the road, it also gives them an opportunity to see parts of the country that often whiz by.”
Since the recipe came from SheisDallas.com, I thought to throw in a few recommendations of kid friendly hotels in Dallas in case you want to make a fun family vacation in the Dallas area. Check these out:
