October 29, Carnival: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Ball: 6 p.m. to midnight
This spooky street fest in Traverse City’s Old Town Neighborhood starts with a family-friendly Monster Pancake Throwdown at 10 a.m. followed by a haunted bouncy castle, old-fashioned carnival games, pumpkin carving, a pumpkin-pie eating contest, music and dancing until 2 o’clock in the afternoon. At 6 p.m., the grown ups have some fun with all-night drink specials from area breweries and wineries, a ‘silent disco party’, a live performance by Ella Riot, a costume contest and more!
