St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm
Dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes roamed the Colorado plateau nearly two hundred millions of years ago. Dr. Johnson discovered dinosaur tracks on his farm under ten feet of dirt, and hundreds of geologists and volunteers have developed this site so we can learn more about the Jurassic period. The exhibit includes many fossilized footprints and may be one of the most important dinosaur museum sites in the world depicting the Jurassic period.
“This is the most significant dinosaur tracksite in western North America.”
