Before having seen a Radio City Rockettes show, let alone the Christmas show, I imagined the short skirts and high kicks would be a bit lost on my 5 year-old son. I was wrong. First of all, the show has several segments where the cast is not only fully clothed, but sometimes wearing full-body costumes of teddy bears and toy soldiers.
The show is high-energy, and loads of fun. And, as a conservative mom, I say VERY kid-friendly! My son loved all of it. The teddy bear nutcracker was adorable. Santa’s workshop skit was very cute, too… complete with elves!
Of all the holiday events we’ve gone to, this was one of our favorite family activities and was fun for the whole family. I not only would bring my son to see this show again, but I would like to take him every year!
They perform in NYC, and various cities throughout the US. We saw them in Nashville at the Grand Ole Opry when we were hosted by the Gaylord Opryland Resort& Convention Center.
